Bought this pool for a good price, amazon gave me good service as I had an issue with the price.Got it fixed right away, received it in good timing, got it up and kids love it.This pool isnt to hard to put up,the walls are nice and heavy, but have help putting it up and make sure you level your ground first, any little tilt or un-level area will make the pool look lopsided.Good thing we noticed it before filling all the way up!Was off a quarter of an inch and looked like it would go over with a good wind. The cover is horrible ,you do better to buy your own pool cover with a cable in it.Seriously this thing blew off ,got my water nasty and I had it on very tightly,Waste of time and energy. So three days later I was vacuuming this thing with a vacuum that doesn't suck very much ,or it does..lol buy a better vacuum, the bag fills or gets clogged every couple mins, you have to take it off ,rinse and start over took me hours to clean this pool, and still wasn't satisfied. So pool is nice ,the rest crap. The pump seems adequate, but think this summer I will buy saltwater pump with heavier motor.Hope this helps.

The pool is great size for the price. It does come with a starter kit however I would recommend saving up to buy a better pump and/or filtration system. The one that comes with it is not very powerful.

Picked a almost level place in yard and spent a couple hours each day over a two week period,(I have a job, had no help from my non-swimming, sure I would have a disaster, uninterested husband) digging and moving dirt from high areas to low areas leveling then releveling area then put down pavers for legs, then ordered the 18 ft pool with a 1600 gal sand filter in package. Intex Ultra Frame 18-Foot-by-52-Inch Round Pool Set It arrived the nice UPS guy helped me get it halfway to the area. I took the box apart and brought the various parts to porch, got son to help me get liner to area. Then spent eight hours solo putting together pool. If I had help it would have taken about two hours, but I went slow so I wouldn't mess anything up. I took lots of breaks as I'm neither young nor strong although I'm getting stronger after digging all that dirt and now enjoying swimming in this pool very very much. I wanted an inexpensive non-permanent pool, and so far it seems very sturdy. This size is plenty deep for swimming exercising, or just relaxing. The pump (still in its box)looks fine, and have it as backup, but wanted something simple to save me the frustration with a filter and pump system and save the planet, save money on electricity and the pool area is not that close to house for electric cords, so I bought a 'Savior' Solar Powered Pool Pump and Filter this extremely nice guy in California invented. [ASIN:B004KPL258 Savior NCSF55 Solar Pool Pump and Filter System]]This Savior pump is keeping the water clean clean clean all by itself-just drop it in and it floats around powered by the sun For Free. I cannot say enough good things about the Savior Pool pump and filter, you can get it on Amazon for around $699. This Savior pump is keeping the water clean clean clean all by itself-just drop it in and it floats around powered by the sun For Free. Pool eighteen foot seems sturdy enough is a good size and depth(52inches is actually around 48) for adults swimming exercising and relaxing. I got a solar cover on Amazon, worked fine I am in chilly Maine. I plan to put it away this winter and get as many seasons as I can from it by replacing parts (liner and legs as needed.). Will add my photos later, going swimming now!
