You've got to give it to Brine for creating a great pair of GK gloves on their first try. I have been Goalkeeping for almost 20 years (indoor, outdoor, turf etc.) and this is one of my favorite gloves so far. I've spent much more on gloves that didn't fit as well or grip the ball as well. The double wrist strap secures the gloves very well and you can noticeably feel the difference. They feel like a part of your own arm. The latex is nice and thick and I do like that the backbone finger spines are removable which makes the gloves easier to clean. The Tuff Palm is also a great addition! with 8 games so far this season there is absolutely no wear on the palm which has always been the quickest part to deteriorate on any other pair of gloves. These gloves also have the recessed latex along the fingers and palm area which keep the gloves from bunching in odd places and allow for maximum control and contact with the ball. These gloves also have a superior grip on them. A bit of water spit on the gloves and I found myself able to easily catch those hard, fast shots which I would have to merely deflect before. I pretty much love these gloves and would recommend them to anyone who was looking for a serious pair of match gloves that don't cost an arm and a leg. I would recommend ordering them a size larger than you normally wear since the negative stitching on the 2 middle fingers makes the fit a bit snugger than usual. I normally wear a 10 but got these in an 11 and they fit perfectly with no excess space without feeling tight. Skip the expensive Adidas, Nike, Reusch, and Uhlsport brands and try out the Brines. I guarantee you wont be disappointed!

These goalie gloves are just what I was looking for. I've been playing soccer in men's leagues and coed leagues for a couple years now, and I recently broke my hand playing goalie in indoor soccer due to a hard shot. I wanted a glove that could give me more protection than the standard glove that you would find at dick's or other sport stores. I looked for quite a while and read many reviews and finally came upon this glove. It has the 'backbone' system which is great for keeping fingers in place and is very padded with 4mm. The only problem is that I am a size 8 in adidas and other company's gloves, but when the brine size 8 came in the mail, it was one size too small, even with the 'backbone' system removed. I sent it back and got a size 9, which is still pretty tight, but I'm expecting the glove to stretch a little bit with play.

I've got 1 game under my belt with these gloves and I love them. I already have some grass stains on them from a couple good dives, but the foam hasn't deformed or pitted and is still all there. I actually have more confidence now due to these gloves and can't wait to see how they perform with regular use. Once again, if you want to protect you hands and not pay 100$, try these gloves out, I know you'll like them.

These are very good gloves. They are sticky and have very firm fingersaves. The wrist straps stay nicely and hold the glove nice and secure.
Pros:
Sticky
Tuff Palm
Good wrist straps
Stiff removable finger saves
Thick latex

Cons:
Tear way too quickly
Zipper to fingersaves comes unzipped too easily, but fingersaves dont come out
Stiff fingersaves
No thumb save

Dont let these gloves dry out entirely or they will become pretty much worthless!

This pair of gloves has good grip and worked well, for the two games i used them in. After the second game, the grip on the fingers was already ripping off on just about every finger. The palms had no rips, but i would not suggest these gloves for long term use over a season. There is good news, however. The customer service of the company is great: i emailed my problems to the company and they emailed me back promptly and worked with me to help and exchange the gloves. If not for this, i would have given a 1 star rating.

Ive had these gloves for about 6 months now and its extremely worn already. Iv played about 10 games of indoor and the foam is missing in a lot of places. The "tuff palm" isnt so tuff. I remember blocking shots and the foam hitting me in the face. I keep the gloves well kept and in room temperature. Just not worth the money when my Brine 3X lasted longer and fit better.

The second small strap is really annoying and the zipper for the backbone broke.

Pros: Good tackiness
Good Finger support
Decent mix of feel and shot absorption

Cons: Foam seems to be wearing quickly, large chunks missing after 2 games, significant wear after 8
Zipper holding the spines in comes undone when making a fist

So if you don't play much or have a separate pair for practice, and are looking for good support then these are pretty decent.

For the first three weeks, theyre strong and durable. from there, the palms will split and the fingers will loose grip. the spines last for a good two months, then they start to crack. They are, however, really affective in the snow. Bad practice gloves, good match gloves. As often said by other keepers, "Brine can do better."

Bought these gloves for my son to play high school soccer.
After one practice the padding at the finger tips of the gloves starting peeling off.
After two games the gloves looked like he had used them all year long.
My son said it didn't feel like there was very much padding in them. They do run a size smaller
than other gloves. I would not recommend these gloves at all.

The gloves are great. They are 1mm thicker then some gloves that are 2x more expensive. They have the finger support which does make them feel small. I read another review that sugguested you buy these golves 1 size larger then you would normally wear and that is what i did and they fit perfect. Would reccomend these to others
