Railroad Hat - Mountain Edition!
on January 19, 2013
Seriously, does anyone remember those hats that railroad conducts used to wear? Does this make me old for remembering? Or perhaps they are just showing it to the younger crowds in some hope that they don't notice or make a connection? The leather lining is an decent touch although it just put there to up the price and make it look more fancy than it is. Or they just had the leather scraps laying around and had nothing better to do with it. This should be a nice compliment to you and/or anyone you know that always wears blue denim jeans or a blue denim jacket. One of the cons I have to say about the hat is that the flap that protects your forehead is sown to the head and not very strongly. if the stitching rips the flap protecting your forehead will keep draping over your eyes which could be dangerous or just really annoying. With some other true religion hats it attaches to the head with strongly made buttons. They could have used better materials like in the other hats they make but they didn't, they just hiked up the price and expected no one to notice, but I did and I don't know anything about clothes. Imagine the the flaws an actual clothing designer would have noticed. It will keep your head warm but I have bills to pay and for the initial ask prices(65+ bucks when reviewed on Amazon, 40+ in retail stores such as Marshalls or TJ maxx) I'd rather brave the harsh winter with my ball cap.
