Like - The fabric itself is pretty awesome. The flannel feels like wool and it is so so soft to the touch. The indigo blue is also a deep color but it does not look as rich as the photo would make it seem.
Dislike - The fit is way too tight for anyone who squats or has a butt. - The rise is also too low to justify slim jeans - below the knee, the jeans get too loose
Overall, an average purchase. I'd wear this casually but not like your typical denim. They are unbelievably soft though.
I saw these jeans in a store in Portland. The flannel denim feels sooo awesome. The thought of wearing socially acceptable pajamas around town in the form of a stylish jean had my head spinning. Of course, this little hipster boutique didn't stock anything over a 32" waist (haters). So, I took my dollars to the internets and found my size. *click to order*
Two days later (thank you seller!) I had my jeans. Now, I am between sizes on jeans… 36 or 38W x 34L. I was excited the manufacture sells 34" inseams, which is usually just enough leg for me at 6'6" tall because I wear my jeans low on my waist (not sagging!). I also assumed I'd need a 38" waist because this is a hipster brand of jeans.
These jeans are indeed snug and short. Like I said, between sizes so usually a 38" is more than enough and I have to wear a belt… 36" is usually pretty tight, but stretch to fit as I wear them in. These jeans tho are very snug as a 38" and the length is not long enough. I'll still wear them because the fabric is so amazing and the fit is tolerable… maybe it will break it like regular denim, I'm not sure. In the meantime, I feel fat when I put them on. :-(
