This was a nice tire and handled well. The only problem I had was it wore down to 2-3/32 at about 38,000 miles. This is supposed to be a 65,000 mile tire. I did have the correct rated tire for my vehicle as well.
Pros: --------- * Quiet Ride * Good Handling (dry) * Smooth Ride * Good stopping distance
Cons: ---------- * Wears out too quickly * Greatly diminished cornering when wet * Greatly diminished acceleration from stop when wet
If I had it to do over again, I would pick something else.
I purchased a set of Ecopia EP422 Bridgestone tires for my 2008 4 door Honda Accord. At slow speeds the handling is acceptable, but at 50 or 60 MPH the car drives like the road is made of marbles. A simple freeway lane change will cause the vehicle to sway significantly. Heaven forbid that you should attempt to drive on a winding road.
I suspect that the tire is too flexible and that the sidewalls allow with wheels to sway back-and-forth even though the tire's tread may be gripping the road. Regardless of the cause, these are "green" tires that will soon be in a landfill.
