My family has played a very large number of escape rooms around the US, and that has raised the question "Is this a business my family might be interested in running?" That answer is still "I can't decide." But Aleksei's book now makes it an informed "I don't know."

In plain language Aleksei introduces difficult decisions in commercial real estate, building code, game creation and game commissioning. The book also serves as a memoir of things to do to make a successful enterprise as well as mistakes made that we could all learn from.

To anyone considering a startup or entry into escape room ownership, I recommend reading through this book for a good narrative of that experience.

If you are thinking about starting an Escape Room business, this is where you should begin, buy this book. I wish I had this book before we began our journey (quest) to open an escape room. We've been running an escape room now for amost 2 years and what I am finding in the book is reassuance that we did 99.5% of it correctly; but only after a lot of critical thinking and hard work. This book would have made the journey a lot easier. I have found several items that we still need to do that we will soon implement. Well done Aleksei!
