Gage truly developed his passion for writing between grades 5-7, although he had been writing and developing ideas for the majority of his life. This is when his passion and talent was recognized by his family, peers, and teachers. Noticing his gift, his teachers encouraged him to enter one of his stories into a competition. While he did not place in first, he placed number 5 out of 300 students from across the city. Gage lives in Chicago alongside his family (mother, sister, nephews, brother, and grandparents) and graduated DeVry University with his bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems. He works in Software Support, but still continues to find time in his schedule to write and work towards making his media company, Crystal Media Communications, which is the home to the radio station WWMR-DB as well as WOSR-DB.
