Even though he had served in various leadership roles back in school, he soon reckoned that he really needed to learn ‘Leadership’ otherwise it was going to be very difficult leading the highly heterogeneous group it was. So he headed to his favourite bookshop and got leadership books, and some general self-help books that caught his attention. That was the beginning of an unforgettable experience; one of the most shocking discoveries (that actually marked a major turning point in his life and career) was Harvard University’s sad finding about Education that points to the fact that Formal Education is able to harness only up to 22 percent of people’s true effectiveness and greatness in life. Why didn’t anybody draw his attention to this fact, and also to self-help books while in school (as part of his education) and emphasised their equal importance as the mainstream courses he was being taught? And if what the mainstream educational system teaches is able to harness only 22 percent of people’s true effectiveness and greatness in life, how can we harness the remaining 78 percent and get people to be truly / fully effective and truly great? Well, it was better late than never, so the book corners / sections became his favourite places in the supermarkets in addition to regular bookshops; within a couple of years, he bought and read more than 100 self-help books (some of them he read over and over again) in addition to the Hebrew-Greek-enabled Bible. And the researching and learning has continued since; specialising on Human & Organisational Performance Improvement Techniques and Strategies. He was moved to collate the best and most effective principles, techniques and strategies that can harness the true / hidden potential of any individual (or group of individuals) no matter the person’s background and current circumstances; i.e. irrespective of a person’s age, gender, looks, financial resources, educational background, etc! and he calls those principles, techniques and strategies: Zing4Life! Amazingly, Zing4Life! is made up of the right and complete set of actions required to tap and use your true, inborn / hidden potential; essentially, Zing4Life! is the foundational knowledge required to harness the 78 percent true / hidden potential that the formal education system ordinarily does not unearth. He has written 14 special books / manuals to outline and teach those principles, techniques and strategies; he calls those 13 special books / manuals the Zing4Life! Series; there are bundled versions as well. Zing4Life! is made up of the right and complete set of actions required to tap and use your true, inborn/hidden potential; essentially, Zing4Life! is the foundational knowledge required to harness the 78 percent true / hidden potential that the formal education system ordinarily does not unearth. Dave was further moved to found ‘Seers Foundation’ and ‘Seers Consult’ to serve as possible vehicles for implementing the Zing4Life! principles widely across the globe; especially Ghana (and Africa). It took more than 7 years of intensive research and development on his part to finish that (in practical terms) and he keeps improving upon them, because he wants Zing4Life! to be current and remain the best in the world; to date, he has covered more than 1,000 self-help volumes by way of books, articles, audios, videos, etc to keep Zing4Life! current, relevant and the best! Those principles, techniques and strategies are amazing; they guide you on your current goals and future aspirations: how to make them better / exceptional, and also get to achieve them easily/quickly! He is thus truly excited to present, from a rich pool of rare and privileged resources and experience. Hitherto, Dave had pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Design / Architecture at (now) Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST; then UST) and subsequently, Post Graduate Diploma in Architecture; also from KNUST. Dave was recognised as one of the best students at the Department of Architecture and the Faculty of Environmental and Development Studies (FEDS). While schooling at KNUST, Dave served as the Publicity Secretary for the Unity Hall Christian Fellowship (UHCF), Chairman of the Annual Explo Nite of Joy Musical Concert of Gospel Explosion, the music wing of the Inter Hall Christian Fellowship (IHCF) for all the years he was with the group, and the Organising Secretary of the Graduate Students Association (GRASAG); among others. Among the many awards he received during his time at KNUST, the one he takes pride in most, is his recognition / award as the most disciplined person on the Seventh Floor (Silicon Valley) of Unity Hall. Just before his postgraduate training, Dave was awarded in an architectural design competition organised by the Ghana Institute of Architects (the body that regulates architectural training and professional practice in Ghana).
