She is a faculty member at UAlbany and the Univ. of Vermont and author of over a hundred scientific papers, articles, and book chapters. With formative years in the Southwest, Millie has settled in Vermont with her husband and daughter, inspiration for veterinary medical detective Maya Maguire.
