The author, Richard J. Johnson was born and raised in New Jersey, and having lived in five other states, now resides in the northern Idaho panhandle. A U.S. Army Military Police Vietnam veteran, Mr. Johnson has spent a good part of his civilian vocation as a security professional, with some law enforcement, interrupted by the decade of the 1980s when he was a Stock Broker, both as an employee and an independent contractor. He has worked on assignments in about twenty-five of the American states: and overseas in Vietnam, Marshall Islands, Kazakhstan, China and Russia. He now occupies his time reading, thinking, imagining, writing, and following financial markets.
