About the Author

After 22 years, I left conventional church ministry to plant a network of microchurches. At the root of this change was a conviction that we have made the Christian faith too complicated. And, ironically, it's resulted in many people having a very simplistic faith. Understandably, many are deconstructing that faith. But I think we do better to disentangle the faith and devote ourselves to the simpler expressions of faith. When we do, we experience a fresh potency that makes sense and gives life again. So, whether I'm teaching in person or on video, or sitting down with someone for a conversation, or putting my thoughts into books, my aim is the same — to encourage and equip followers of Jesus in living out a simpler and truer faith for these complicated times.
