About the Author

Tracey Hurst grew up in Solihull in the UK. A happy work at home Mom of two loving and adventurous boys. Growing her Indie Publishing business Creative Empires with her own journals, planners, education, coloring and speciality books. Also runs various other websites for Business planners and Etsy Digital Download stores. As a late teen Tracey spent time living and working in St Paul’s Bay in Malta-a wonderful experience, living in the sun for the first time ever. When she returned to the UK she then spent a year working in the one and only Harrods in London where she made some wonderful friends and great memories too. With the itchy feet having truly set in, Tracey followed a passion for travel and adventure by then working as a Chief Stewardess for a few seasons based in Monaco for Liveras Mediterranean Luxury charter yachts. Working aboard the beautiful yachts RMS Rosenkavalier (renamed Lady Haida) and Princess Tanya. It was very hard work and extremely long hours but a great way to travel and experience beautiful places while living at sea. Tracey often reminisces on the mornings watching dolphins and whales swimming close by across the glass-like ocean...truly mesmerising! After eventually returning home Tracey enjoyed an exciting career working in sales for the luxury motor brands Mercedes and Audi. In 2008 Tracey was delighted to first become a Mom and now has two young sons (also now her book contributors). Tracey spends her happiest days with her children and is excited that they also love to help in her business. While on maternity leave in 2010, she started her Information Publishing business which in 2012 received a MumsClub Top 100 Business Mums Award! When creating information products and ebooks for her own and other small businesses-she often took a short break from writing and website work by doing some calligraphy which she has loved doing since childhood. Tracey's hands were always covered in ink stains. Over the years she learned how to create fonts, typography, and creative hand lettering. Also as part of the business, she was creating social graphics for other businesses so learning all the time to use all the different image editors and apps that increasingly became available. Recently she achieved an ncfe accredited Diploma in Internet Marketing with The Internet Business School which also encompassed social media and many other aspects of online marketing. Having also invested in other mentoring Tracey learned how to design, create and publish her own books and found a new passion for creating notebooks, planners, colouring books and journals. Tracey’s publishing business venture started with helping her two young sons with their school projects. They soon learned how to use the tools too and both can create their own projects now, which is great as they have many years ahead for perfecting their skills at just age 11 and 13 years old. They love creating as much as their Mom does, so the collaboration started. Tracey's sons have helped with inspiration and ideas as well as giving the thumbs up or down on each project or book. They also have their own Merch shops selling their own designs.
