We didn't cook from it yet, so can't comment on the food, but it sure looks damn authentic and delicious to me.
Yeah, well, the downside is that it's entirely written in Spanish: by Mexicans for Mexicans, so you won't find such an authentic and complete book about tacos anywhere else. But not all hope is lost: we heard that Phaidon will release an english version of this book in September 2015, so let's hope the fun, vibrance, and graphic design packed in those pages won't get lost in translation.
In any case, if you dream carnitas, cochinita pibil, chicharron, and anything else that goes in tacos (and you obviously do, otherwise you wouldn't be reading this...), you won't regret buying this book, even if it's just to look at the pictures and have that perfect excuse to learn Spanish!
