Ha ha, good point Emma! They always have "includes free wireless delivery" but the price shown is $2.99 so it's like they're saying there's no charge for delivery on top of the $2.99... as if we don't realize the $2 delivery charge has already been added onto the charge for the book!

And I know all about the unavailable in your country messages, we get the same here in Aus. Very frustrating when you find a book you really want and then it tells us we can't have it........

Stephen I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you. Your desire to provide your book gratis to people is what made me decide to purchase it, and I would have done so even if you had to charge more than the current price. I've come across many authors on the different forums here and something about your appeal to the readers struck a cord.

I used to love nothing more than curling up with a nice suspenseful thriller but for the past couple of years have found myself addicted to 'urban fantasy'. Okay everyone, put your sneers away, I became addicted before Twilight hit the scene. I am currently in the middle of three different fangtastic books but I intend to read your offering after those and write my review since you are trying to get feedback and a following. I wish you all the best with your writing.

Bought. Intriguing!

Hi Muhsketchy,
I'm glad I struck a cord with you. You struck one with me too...
I hope I can pull you away from those 'urban fantasy' novels and back to reading thrillers once again! (even for just a short while).

Thank-you for your post.

See, this is why I have so many books in progress. I read the sample right away and had to get the book. The first step is to set the book location to the last location of the sample, and of course, you can't just quit there. Finished the book 6 hours later and have to say I found it every bit as good as (maybe better than) the book I was currently reading by a major best selling author.

ShirleyKat, I tried to reply to you earlier but I can't see it up here so I'll do it again now. First, thanks for a great post I'm really excited that it had you hooked. Second, would you be kind enough to review it?
Thank-you again.

Stephen, Thank you for the code! I got a copy immediately. It'll be awhile before I read it, but I'll give it one of my Fred Flintstone reviews, i.e. me like book, buy now, ooga booga. Or a similar caveman-like, non eloquent review :).

I'm happy you offered the book free for tight arses like me, but I'm really pleased to see that everyone else was willing to buy it. It's nice for the author, but also seems like the ratio is one that wouldn't scare authors from offering free codes since so many are obviously willing to purchase so that it comes from Amazon. Hope that made sense.

Stephen, The book costs $2.99 here in Aus but that is SO cheap for a book over here. I bought it today and will review it when I'm done. Thanks for the introduction!

Hey OhEmGee,
Yes it made perfect sense, and I'm perfectly happy with a Fred Flinstone review!

No problem, B. Elliott. The paperback version is selling in UK stores for £6.99 (about $11 US), so not a bad price! Thanks for your post and come back tell me if the $2.99 was worth it!

Kill&Cure is now at #79 on the Amazon Mystery Bestsellers (just behind one of my favorite authors - Robert Crais). That's great for an Indie title! So thank-you to all those who have bought it.
BTW, if you haven't I'd love to get it higher!

I may be wrong, but I think the free international delivery might be only for US registered customers abroad. I don't pay a download fee in Mexico, but I bought my Kindle while still living in the US.

Looks fascinating. Just bought it, glad you posted. Like Kno said, I too buy a lot of the books that are recommended on this forum. All the best for moving on up that bestseller list!
