We all have cds in our collection that 9 out of 10 people never heard of and the music is great. I would love to be turned onto some great music. And possible turn some of you on.
*Absinthe-"A Good Day To Die"- Side project by Sammy Liamas of the Bodeans. About the sucide of his brother.
*Appaloosa-"Appaloosa" 1969 Robin Batteau member, produced by Al Kooper. very mellow and Barogue
Aztec Two Step- "Time it Was" - live doing all Simon and Garfunkel songs being interviewed by Pete Fornatale. found it on their web site
*Fools Gold-"Fools Gold" 1978, Dan Fogelberg's backup band, if you like him you will like them.
*Foghat-"Last Train Home" new cd, just realesed. Great blues cd
*Scott Kempner-"Tenement Angels" 1992, solo album from leader of The Dictators. Nothing like The Dictators, my oppinion its better, more folk, great lyrics.
*Steve Marriott - "30 seconds to midnite" 1989, solo from Small Faces and Humble Pie Leader. Lots of soul.
*Mountain-"Masters of War" 2007, doing all Dylan songs, Ozzy sings title song and Warren Haynes plays on another.
*Bill Quateman-"Bill Quateman" 1971, singer songwriter
*Lovin Spoonful- "Revolution 69- 1969 without John Sebastain but still good.
You may be familar with some or all of these. Interested in learning some new music

Great item, Joe. Here are some:

From the past:
Tonio K: Life in the Foodchain. Genius. I have never seen it on CD, but I still have copies in black vinyl and green vinyl.
Graham Parker and the Rumour: Squeezing Out Sparks.
Dead Boys: All, but especially Sonic Reducer and Son of Sam. Check out: Young, loud and snotty, and We have come for your children.
Echo and the Bunnymen: many great albums. The song "The Game" is amazing.
Queen: Queen II. Before they went pop, they were total rockers.
Rachael Sweet. Great voice and great songs.
Al Stewart: Time Passages. Simply wonderful.
Oingo Boingo (Or the Mystical Knights of the Oingo Boingo): all albums. More genius and one of the best live bands every.
The Psychedelic Furs: Their first album (later versions were good, but a bit more poppy.) "India....you're my love song."

Recent: OK, some may have heard of these, but...
The Kills: everything, but especially "Sweet Cloud." How do they do that with just one guitarist and a beat box and a singer???
St Vincent: Strange Mercy. A bit off beat, but some great stuff here.
The Hives: all albums. The Clash reborn.
