5.0 out of 5 starsGreat case - just what I was looking for.
Reviewed in the United States on February 15, 2012
I was looking for a case that was durable and stylish, but did not add much bulk to the Transformer Prime's minuscule thickness. This case is just what I wanted.

Overall, the case fits the Prime perfectly. The cover stays closed, yet is easy enough to open one handed. The material is high quality, inside and out. The notches in the cover allow the tablet to stand at different angles more securely than I was expecting. The cover also folds completely back allowing the tablet to sit pretty much flush on my desk or lap, which is how I usually use it. The case also does not cover the front of the tablet like other cases do. There's just a few tabs to hold it securely in place, not a sleeve.

I've been using it for about 2 weeks and only have a few minor things to note. First, in order to use the case as a stand, you need to remove the bottom two corners from the case. This is pretty simple, but I'm somewhat concerned that over time, the corner tabs will get stretched out and not hold the tablet as securely as it is now. That said, there is no evidence of this yet and it seems to be holding up well.

The only other flaw I have with this case is more the fault of ASUS. By having the charging port on the located where it is, the spine of the case needs to have a hole cut out to allow you to plug the device in. However, once plugged in, you can not open or close the cover (the cord is in the way). This also means that you can not use the case as a stand and also have the tablet plugged in. The workaround I found has been easy enough - just flip the tablet around so the cord comes out the top. However, the holes for the speaker will no longer line up. That's the trade off.

If i were redesigning this case, the only thing I would change would be to add additional holes for the speaker on the opposite side to allow the tablet to be placed in "bakwards" to allow for charging and use as a stand. Again, this is an issue that will exist for almost all cases for this device.

Its alright. Certainly not $30 good or even $20 good. More like $10 good. I would prefer one that has a sleeve that I can put my micro fiber cloth in.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice case for a Transformer Prime
Reviewed in the United States on May 3, 2012

Nice case to protect my Transformer Prime. The case fits the Prime nicely, and there is plenty of clearance around the camera, flash, speaker, buttons, etc... You can't have the charger plugged in when the case is open on the stand, but this is not a big issue to me. When it is open, I'm using the Prime and don't want the cord hanging around anyway. All of the corners are well protected when it is closed, so there is some level of protection if you drop it (I haven't, and hopefully I won't). It don't see a big problem with popping out the bottom corners to set it on the stand features. I've had mine for about 1 month and use it daily, and the bottom corner clips are not too tight and have not really changed in feel since I got it. The cover snap closure also works well and shows no sign of wearing out. The upper corner and side clips that hold the Prime in the cover are pretty tight, and I was concerned that they would peel up the screen protector, but they appear to grip more from the sides than the face and this ended up not being an issue.

Like other reviews, the first two slots are the only useful ones for adjusting the tilt. The third slot is just not deep enough and/or the Prime's edges are too round to effectively grip in this position. Short of making the case thicker in this area, there is no way I see to improve this.

If you haven't used a tablet, I find the angled support a real necessity. When you are laying on the couch or have it in your lap, holding 1 lb. can get tiring fast. Having it propped up frees both hands for tapping and typing and make it really nice to use.

The leather (pleather?) is nice to the touch and looks good, although I don't particularly care for the grain pattern. The stitching is overall construction is top notch and appears to be holding up fine. It has been on several trips and gets a pretty good workout everyday. All in all it is a fine case and I would buy it again. It is cheap insurance to protect your tablet. 4 stars just because the 3rd slot doesn't work well.

1.0 out of 5 stars This case does NOT fit the TF700

I have yet to find a case that's easy to slide on for the transformer tf700t, I bought 3 cases, 2/3 didn't fit at all, this case does fit sorta but requires some work, it wasn't easy at all, but it fit. I had trouble getting it on properly, it's not fit 100% properly but 75% of it fit.

It fits the TF201 well and looks fairly decent. Seems well made and I don't expect it to fall apart. However, the last dip of the "mulit-angle" is crappy. It didn't hold the tablet up for more then a second. I MacGyvered it with some duck tape and a wedge, so it works fine now, but I really shouldn't have to do that.

5.0 out of 5 stars Functional, Versatile Case
Reviewed in the United States on March 29, 2012

I've been using the case for over a month now, and I'm very happy with it. It protects the tablet, is not too bulky, looks good, and allows good viewing options. The cutout for the power cord is a nice feature, so you can charge the tablet without taking it out of its case. There are cutouts for all of the other ports, as well. Because of the tablet design having the power inlet on the bottom, you have to flip the tablet upside down and set up the cover so that the tablet rests on a groove on the outside of the jacket to use while charging and still in the case. The case will be stiff when you first get it, so don't worry if your tablet is a little hard to fit into the case. I'm very satisfied with the product and have no complaints.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very nice case for the money

Just received this case yesterday. Nothing negative to say. Perfect fit, nice look and feel, very slim. It is imitation PU leather, but high quality, so it does not look and feel "faux". For $15 it's a no brainer. I've heard this is the same case as the Verteks and Moko. If you can find any of these I think you'll be happy.

4.0 out of 5 stars Awesome case for the price!

I've had this case out of the box for about an hour, and I am really loving it! The case feels great and fits the Transformer Prime snugly and securely. Along with the inside of the case having the grooves for propping up the tablet, the front cover has a crease which allows it to be folded under the tablet, providing the perfect angle for typing! This feature is not covered in the description or the manufacturer's photos, and is definitely an advantage over a standard folio case.

Pros:
-Nice-looking leather (possibly PU or PVC bonded leather, but still has a better look and feel than vinyl) for a very reasonable price.
-Good, snug fit. The case was definitely made just for the TF201.
-Microfiber interior is soft and will not scratch the back or screen of the tablet. (Since the screen is Gorilla Glass, this is hardly a concern to begin with...)

Cons:
-There is one minor imperfection in the back of the cover, a slight bump, from what I assume is a glob of glue. This is hardly noticeable, however, and does not affect the overall quality of the case.
-The clasp that keeps the case closed seems to hold well, but it does seem like the piece could break easily. I will update after a month or so and let you know how it is holding up.

The bottom line: If you want the added protection a nice leather case provides at a very low price, this Blurex case is absolutely wonderful!

4.0 out of 5 stars Not a good fit--UPDATED
Reviewed in the United States on April 30, 2012

I owned a case similar to this for my Amazon Kindle Fire. It was a perfect fit and I was very happy with it. With that in mind, I ordered this one for my ASUS TF201, but was disappointed to find that the fit was not nearly a good. Not only that, but when my ASUS TF201 was in this case, my WiFi reception was much weaker than when out of the case. While I suspect this was not the fault of the case, but rather the ASUS, I found myself leaving it out of the case except when traveling. All-in-all, I would not recommend this case for the ASUS TF201. There are many other cases out there that would provide a better fit and not interfere with WiFi signal. The only reason I give the case 2 stars is because the quality of its construction was decent.

UPDATE: Since posting this review, I have returned the original product to Amazon for a full refund. After returning it, I received an email from the manufacturer who offered to send me a replacement. I informed the company that the Case had already been returned, but they insisted on sending me another, free of charge. I agreed and received a replacement 2 days later. The replacement Case fit much better and I've concluded that the first one must have been defective. I am very pleased with the responsiveness of this company and how quickly it acted to remedy the problem All companies should be as excellent as this one was in their Customer Relations.

4.0 out of 5 stars REAL LEATHER - Very slim minimalist So Vertical Stand
Reviewed in the United States on May 11, 2012

REAL LEATHER! This is the real deal, real leather, from a cow.
Very slim, trim and light.
Edges are protected by the tabs that hold the tablet in place. I really like this protection, I'm scared if it drops the other cases that have nothing protecting the corners would be a diaster.
This case DOES NOT have a way to stand/tilt to read it in the PORTRAIT, vertical mode. I can live with that. It does stand straight up vertical by using the flap as a stand, but no other angles in Portrait mode.
There are many angles for Landscapre mode, horizonal. The tallest mode is a bit weak as other reviewers mentioned but it does work. You can sort of rest it upside down if you like using the flap but it's not strong that way.
The curved hooky tabs that hold the tablet in the case work well, but I am worried about how long they will last with normal usage wear and tear. They are soft leather so they don't scratch the tablet.
The closure is just another WIDE hooky tab that grabs the tablet edge. This was very tight at first but is breaking in. I am scared this might loosen up eventually to the point that it doesn't really work. THey should have used a magnetic flap. This is my only real dissapointment.
All in all, I really like this case. I wanted a slim real leather case and this is it! It looks really classy and cool.
