Gives me the power

I just started using LED strip lighting, and this little battery box does a great job of providing simple, portable power to test installations with. It's simple and I probably could have built one from scratch, but for the 5.43 beans I paid for this, it just wasn't worth my time to roll-my-own.

It already has the correct barrel connector used on most 3528 and 5050 single-color strips, and it has a slide switch to turn things on and off.

I suspect most folks would use this to power portable strip or wire lighting (bicycle, clothing, etc.), and it would think it would work excellently for that as well.

Exactly What I Needed for Monitor

This is exactly what I need to power my rear camera monitor. It is well constructed with good contacts and unlike others it has an ON/OFF switch. The cable was very flexible and the connector was exactly what I needed for my monitor. I have been using this for several months with no problems.

I bought one to test it with portable LED lighting. It worked fine so I ordered another. By the time the second one arrived, the first had mysteriously stopped working. The second one worked for a few weeks then the cord started to separate from the case, exposing bare wire, which I discovered because it was smoking. The manufacturer should add a strain relief where the cable exits the housing.

Well made, solid and met my needs

Meets the need, well made and solid. Would like some built in mounting options and a reference about what is the negative and positive on the output. Perhaps the lead coming out could have one side gray and an imprinted notation on case about what is positive vs negative. This would be an asset. Otherwise, it is a fair price, prompt delivery and met my needs for a project.

Frustrated- did not come with the plug

First item came without a plug which is not what is advertised. I had thought it was just a fluke and requested for a replacement. The replacement came in and it was the exact same!! How FRUSTRATING. This batch that they're picking from is clearly mislabeled/contains the wrong product as the previous reviewers are experiencing the same issue as me!
