Worked fine

I used this to drill holes in five ceramic mugs and an about-half-inch-thick cup-shaped granite rock (to make them into pots). Everything went as expected, and the bit appeared ready to keep working after I finished.

Since I was using a hand drill (powered, of course), I just put each mug and the similarly-shaped rock upside down in a bucket filled with enough water to just cover them. I used a slow drilling speed, mostly between 50 and a couple hundred rpm, and fairly light pressure. I started the drilling at a slight angle to help avoid the bit slipping around. The bit didn't even get warm as far as I could tell. That took about ten minutes per mug, but I went slow to try to take it easy on the bit.

The bit I got is very slightly wobbly from being off center or warped somehow, but that wasn't a problem. In fact, it might have helped to keep the drill hole from getting tight.

The bit I got has a slot instead of a round hole on the side, better for removing whatever might get stuck in the center.

The vendor I purchased from, Yooway, shipped the bit several days after I ordered it. It took nine days from the day I ordered it to arrive, not bad for free shipping.

Works like a charm

Received 2-weeks before their delivery date, in perfect condition. Worked like a charm. I drilled 12 holes in my bathroom wall ceramic tiles, backed by 3/8" cement board, to install Grab Bars. Drills hole in that 5/8" total thickness in about 10 min each. I used a piece of wood, 1/2"x3"x8" with 1/2" hole in center of it to hold the drill bit in place, with another 1/8" hole on top to insert a 1/8" plastic tube to supply cooling & lubricating water at drilling point. I used a 2-ltr soft drink bottle, with 1/8" hole in its lid to insert the other end of the tube, with my wife holding the water filled bottle above the drilling. It really worked great when you hold the wood tightly against the wall with one hand, while drilling with other hand, with very light pressure on the drill, and water flowing. You can remove the wood after the hole is well started, but keep water flowing while drilling. The Drill bit is still usable for may be another 10 holes! I did ordered Spare drills just in case. Only thing I did not like is, you have to remove the drilled plug from the bit, after every hole. I had to remove the bit from the drill and use a nail from the other end.

Best buy for your money!

I think this is a best buy for the money when it comes to diamond bit hole saws. It has performed admirably on the five bottles I've drilled thus far and show Zero signs of deterioration. I expect to get another 20+ out of it for sure.
Go slow to start if using on round bottles as it can skip on you neccessatating some polish work. Has yet to cause a crack. I use firm pressure with a regular corded drill then increase speed as it gains purchase on the glass and it pops through before you know it. Quick and easy to use.
Don't waste the money on 20-50you diamond dust hole saws as they all eventually wear out. These work great and its a perfect size for lamp projects, etc. Buy one, you'll be glad you saved your money.

This worked amaze-balls! For a dollar!!!! I saw these at Home Depot for 35 dollars. I get people have to make a living, but I figured I'd take a chance on the drill bit for a dollar. And it's fabulous. I've drilled holes in the bottom of my ceramic planting pots in seconds. Without sounding like an infomercial, I'm amazed and thrilled that this bad boy works so well for so cheap. It took just under two weeks to arrive.

The bit looks and cuts good, altho haven't done a lot of work yet. About 30 inches at 1/2 inch deep, (two passes) fuzz at the edge came off very easy, (plywood). We'll see how it works next month.
As I said, bit is good, but the people behind possessing the order leave much to be desired. It was my fault a ship date could not be determined, so they say. Other items on that order shipped quick. About a week later I wrote them asking about ship date, that's when I was told they couldn't process my order, 'cause I had not completed order. About 20 min later I was going to cancel this item. Low and behold a "shipped" listing on the order. And my CC charged.
