3 terminal, momentary action, 1 NO 1NC, silver tone lever hinger is easy to control.
The Micro Switch is widely used in appliance, electronic equipment, automatic machine, car electric, etc.
In snap action contacts, the movement of the actuator applies force to an overcenter mechanism. This mechanism creates a quick change in contact state when the trip point is reached. Reversing the motion of the actuator to a given reset point causes the contacts to snap back to their original position.Snap action contacts have different trip and reset points. The distance between the trip and reset point is called the travel to reset, hysteresis, or differential. Finite travel to reset helps to avoid multiple changes of state if the object actuating the switch is subject to vibration.
Snap action contacts ensure repeatable performance in applications that involve low speed actuators. The amount of travel of the contacts is also not dependent on the amount of travel by the actuator.

The lever has a fair amount of side play, such that if the switch were mounted in a horizontal position, it could sag past the side of the switch body and cause some problem with the surrounding surface. A thin spacer under the switch body would fix that. Red plastic roller is free on lever end and rolls smoothly.
Switch has a distinct click when activated. Don't know how long it will last in use but it seems to be of reasonable quality and therefor a good value.
So far, they're working great! They're small enough to be hidden in between the drawer and the dresser itself. With some clever wiring, you can't even tell they're there. Plus they have this nice little click when you open and close the drawers.
If you're looking to connect them to wires, you'll want to solder directly or pick up some 1/8" terminal connectors. Sometimes they're pink but you can find blue ones on eBay pretty cheaply that will fit. You'll have to wait for sloooow shipping from China but they'll work!
Unlike the stock switches these have rollers instead of flat contact arms, which make them trigger without the extension pieces required on the stock machine, the arms are also a little stiffer than the ones that came on my machine. Unfortunately they are also a bit taller than the stock switches, so a bit of print height was lost compared to the stock switches I had on there.
On the plus side, my prints seem to be a good deal more consistent after swapping the switches and re-calibrating the printer. I'm not sure if it was due to the re-calibration or the switches, but I have a feeling that these are more accurate switches than the generic flat switches that came on the printer before.
While they could be an upgrade for printers with cheap stock switches, they work extremely well as replacements.
I only wish that they came in a 6 pack so I could have two full replacement sets instead of one set and two spares.
I haven't installed these yet, but they make a satisfying click when activated, like an IBM keyboard switch, so I'm expecting these to make good positive actuations. I intend to use these for making sure that the windows in my house are properly latched for home security. They are tiny enough to fit inside hollow portions of my window frames and be actuated by the metal frame of the latch when closed up.
Did take quite a while to arrive but did arrive way before the delivery estimate.
