Item is described as having a 1/2" shank (0.5" and 12mm) - I quickly purchased it and didn't think about the fact that 12mm is 0.47" when converted. This will not fit tightly enough using my 1/2 router collet. Too bad, because these appear to be of high quality. I guess if you can use this in your metric device, then its probably great.
