I ordered this for my 3d printer as an e-stop switch for the ac mains. The package arrived and it seemed really small. The red button is packaged separately from the body of the switch and screws on the top of the switch easily.

I have not hooked it up yet to any power, but the switch is made from flimsy plastic material. I don't expect this to last forever based on the feel of the plastic and how the switch turns. But it functions appropriately.

The blue side of the switch is normally open, while the purple side is normally closed. This is when the switch is in the "out" position. When pressing in the switch, the switches changes states (as expected). Then it takes about a 45 degree rotation to reset the switch.

This is a decent switch in my opinion. I saw some complaints saying this switch is frail. There are heavier switches out there, but I've worked with dozens of these in my life as a machinist, and this one is just as good as many I've seen. As the name states, it is an emergency stop switch. These aren't meant to be on/off switches that are to be used continuously, though some companies do wire them as the only off switch on equipment, unfortunately. If you plan to wire your machine, use this switch for what it is, an e-stop, and wire in a separate off switch that's designed for high cycle use.
