In years past, a dependence upon a well-known MMORPG took my every waking hour. Unfortunately, there were no fellow 'addicts' to befriend, nor did I have friends (drunkard or not) in the real-world to drag me out of my comfort zone.
What ended my 2-year stint with the game were some intensive personal and health issues which completely overruled any interest in gaming.
Feka illustrates the gaming addiction very accurately; one could believe he was writing this from personal experience.
A telling read - and highly recommended.

loved this short book, the characters cracked me up, the dialog had me rofling and i immediately went to see if hercules has written any other stuff. scads of it, and most of it in the realm of non-fiction, brainiac food. if you are a geek, nerd or role-playing addict, download this little gem for your kindle.

I found the first chapter very good and could somewhat relate as I think I myself live on the internet at times. I wish it had stayed as funny throughout the rest of the book. The author's use of the f word was a slight turn-off and I was ready for the character using it to leave. I thought it really went slow in places or was just totally stupid. Mostly the friends behavior not the addict's.
I was not real fond of this book.
Oh and the cover is really freaky. I am not sure if it helps or hurts your book.

Very entertaining. Well developed characters and plot. Lots of clever little vignettes. A seemingly hopeless situation resolved in an unexpected way. Many verbs in sentences, unlike my review.
