This is a great deal! It softens, smells of lavender.
How I use it...All-day as a lip gloss. I don't use it as a nighttime lip mask.
About the lavender...this is a lavender lover's product. If that's you buy it! If not, you may not love the initial smell (I say initial smell, because the smell does fade after a bit)
The consistency...is thick-ish (high-viscosity) and shiny. It has some staying power. It's less sticky than Rosebud. Also, once on your lips it warms up and will smooth out, without totally melting off the lips. ** I read the negative reviews and can only guess that someone must have globbed it on (excited, went overboard?) and ended up with a mouthful of lavender.
It softens...I'm in my 40's so that doesn't just 'happen.' I was happily surprised after a couple of days using it as lip gloss (not overnight) to wake up with soft lips! Depending on the condition of your lips, a few days of consistent use may add some juiciness' to your lip-look.
Juicy, not enlarged...I use plumpers, so juicy and plumped-up are not the same, IMO. When I say juiciness, I do not mean enlargement. That said, if you are already using plumpers you may already have softer lips and the overall impact will not be so obvious. However, after a month or two on lockdown, not using my expensive plumpers, this product was just a wonderful surprise.
Another bonus- the pot doesnt leak!!
