Looks nice and works great. That is about all you can ask from a corkscrew. The Hicoup waiter's corkscrew is a better quality and works better than a lower cost waiters corkscrew I own. The Hicoup corkscrew also has a foil cutter which is a better feature than I thought it would be and my lower cost waiters corkscrew does not have a foil cutter.
I've had several kinds of wine bottle openers (two prong cork pullers, wing corkscrews twist and pull corkscrews and cheaper waiters cork screws) and Hiccups waiters corkscrew is the easiest tool to use to open a wine bottle. It took me a couple of bottles to get the hang of how to use this cork screw efficiently, but once yo do, it makes it very quick and easy to open a bottle of wine. The foil cutter is a great feature and works on foil, plastic, everything I've run across.
A really great product, high quality, works great, nice designs and you can choose your handle style.

Not a bad wine opener , but not the best !
Let me start by saying that I'm a waiter/bartender for more than 13 years now. During this time I used a lot of different products and I worked in a lot of places ; right now I'm on a cruise ship. Anyways , let me get to the point.The good: it's not a bad product.The price is right and I mean it looks good, I can see and feel that they've used good materials and it feel rather good in the hand, that wood being a nice touch. The foil cutter even being so new you can take it out at ease and it helps you cut the top paper of the the wine bottle letting you see the cork.It is probably the second best part of this wine opener. The best part part of this wine opener is that it has nice channels that are helping you when you take the cork out, by not destroying the cork and to leave behind parts of it in the bottle or breaking the cork making it very difficult to take it out.It is probably the best so far I've seen, I mean it does not break the corks, even if I open a $3 wine bottle with a very bad natural cork inside.The bad: This 2 way system of pulling to cork in 2 stages is actually harder to do then it seems. I mean it gives you no problems with plastic corks, but when we talk about wood corks the matter is totally different. Why ? It is simple: when you first try to us the top short part to take out the cork easy, you have to use your own pressure, which looks easy that it seems as you most of the time are in the rush or takes to much time to be done , resulting in applying too much pressure and by this very often you break some of the cork in the first operation of extracting it. Not even when you use the 2-end part to extract the cork is not easy at all. I mean is better than the classical way in one stage, but is not way better than other wine openers.It takes way to much time to adjust and honestly I used just because it does not break the corks, thought I loose time till I get the job done :). Also I was expecting to be thinner , to fit a in a small holster behing my back but it is not :).If this double hinge system was working better, it will get my maxim rating. But like this , it is an ok wine opener.Do not get me wrong, for a house use ,probably is the best. For commercial use that I need where speed is very important, well I found it less use, thought is not a bad product, it gives me too much frustrations till' I get the job done.Conclusion: I'll stick to my Pulltaps same price range like this one for the easy of getting the job done and the slim body that it has. Too bad that this double hinge system is not friendly to use. If it had the Pulltap system will be the best buy.
