it is not cheap and yet it is made of a cheap metal....... this is just money waste :(
It's extremely cheaply made from the lowest quality materials that could be sourced. Also it wasn't quite square in any direction.
Read the bad reviews and believe them, it got two stars because it works just ok on small items.
I cleaned them with degreaser and clamped some scrap wood. Still ended up with black smudges so I applied blue painters tape to the clamp faces. Not too big of a pain for the value of these clamps.
The clamping force of the product is perfect! Having the screw handle style clamping, really helps to adjust the material you work with; and not wreck your work under too much force. Some people have said that they hate the quick release feature. I have to say, I don't agree with that at all. In fact, I feel as if it makes working with it much better. What's better than being able to quickly release the work when you're done? Especially, if you are cramped for time.
This is hands down, a solid tool. The release buttons look flimsy, as well as the screw handles. Yet, they both work flawlessly. Best purchase for sure!

The perfect tightening partner, simple to use and solid,...when you know how to use it correctly with respect of the job it was designed for. It's not an industrial strenth clamp, it's not a steel-rod clamp. It's a simple clamp for a simple right angle job.
Respecto a la durabilidad no puedo hablar aun ya que no la he sometido a trabajos o usos rudos.
Recomiendo más la prensa "CAN-DO" a 90°,
However, while the angle of the jaws is exactly 90 degrees viewed horizontally, the fixed jaws (the critical ones for alignment) are not vertical. You can see this in the first photo. I fixed this by cutting some shims out of 0.6mm steel plate and inserting them between the top of the jaw faces and the body of the tool, above the line of the screws that attach the jaw faces (see second photo).
For the high price of this product, the manufacturer should have milled the faces of the vertical jaws in the casting to ensure they are vertical. Just using the cast surface results in an inevitable slight taper in the casting, causing this misalignment.
Bottom-line: Poor quality + unfulfillable guarantee = do not buy!
