I ordered this product on April 7. I initially had two straws damaged in shipping. When the company learned about the issue, they contacted me and offered to replace the two damaged straws. I promptly received two replacements well packed and in good shape. I am very happy with the company and the quality of their product. The straws are rugged and a pleasure to use and easy to clean. They are a good company that stands behind their product and carry quality goods. I will definatly order again .

Works for stainless travel mugs

Items arrived in three days and they are the perfect size for the large stainless steel travel mugs that I keep at work, home and car. There were no burrs and the water does not taste metallic. The diameter may be too thin for milkshakes but it is fine for everything of mine. I thought the shipping and handling cost was high considering that the actual cost to them was only $1.64 to mail three straws. My reason for purchase was to get the extra height for the mugs but I also enjoy the cost savings from not having to buy straws. Plus it looks great.

I ordered 2 of these straws and I'm not disappointed. I'm slowly moving away from using plastic as I've become more educated on the chemicals plastics can contain. The straw hole isn't as big as my plastic smoothie straws but I don't mind, since I'm primarily using them to sip my morning smoothies which are blended well and don't contain big chunks of fruit. In my opinion, glass and stainless steel materials are the way to go, so these fit the bill nicely!

It's 8.5 not 9.45" so yeah. I got a refund. Nothing wrong with straw but I wanted a longer one for a reason and if I wanted the 8.5 I could have bought a pack of 4 for a similar price. So just know that before you buy.

Some modifications neccessary

Your basic stainless steel straw. When I got it, it had burrs in it from the manufacturing process. Once I used a steel file to smooth them out, the straw did not pose a hazard anymore. The straw's diameter and length is just a little too narrow and short for the perfect drinking experience. In short, somewhat acceptable if you're willing to do some modifications that should really have been done by the manufacturer.
