Your TV probably has audio outputs (depending on it's age). If so, they would plug in to the receiver's auxiliary inputs, then you could listen to your TV through your stereo system.

Richard is correct. I have a Vizio flat screen. It has audio outputs that I have connected to the audio input "AUX" jacks in the back of the Sherwood. You would need the standard RCA type plug ins, very easy to get and hook into. Great for TV shows, sports, or movies to listen through the bigger speakers.
