Purchased the Vinyl record, and I've gotta say, it sounds absolutely fantastic. This is a quality-made record, something which you don't see very often (vinyl is coming back, but most don't take the time to properly master). This is 180 gram, meaning it is a sturdier record, which will hold up well over the years. It's playback is in 45rpm, so make sure you're aware of that before hand (since I've seen a few reviews state the record was defective when they were playing it at 33rpm). The only downside is due to the 45rpm, there are only 3 songs per side. However, they sound absolutely phenomenal, and yes, the 45rpm is there for a reason, its meant to be sonically superior.
I'm not really even an Ed Sheeran fan that much, my wife moreso is, but after hearing this record and how amazing it sounded (surprisingly I preferred his non-single songs), I'm a fan to some extent at least.
I won't judge the music too much since that's all subjective and whatnot, but I've gotta say, this is a really well-made record, both in the production of the LP and also in the recording.
