I have a coconut tree that finally decided to produce. This little tool works, but on my first attempt at using it I saw that the cutting barrel is too short to reach the hollow of the (pretty big) coconut. It took me a few attempts to dig closer-it did work without worrying it would break. Suitable for small-ish green coconuts and likely very well on coconuts that have had their husk trimmed. A good buy, especially if you’re up for sipping on fresh coconut water regularly:)

How to use on skinned young coconut found in grocery stores
stab the top of the coconut and use a hammer to puncture the inner shell. Then take it out and redo it on the flip side (same side as before just turn the blade)
Now take the blade out and pour into a cup.

You should then see the coconut milk. Then use a hammer on the side to crack open and eat the flesh!
